Cindi Miller Herleman
Cindi Miller Herleman is a Colorado-based photographer who has found her home in nature and her heart in whimsy. You will see that and more reflected in her images. Drawing on inspiration from Impressionists such as Monet and Seurat she uses special lenses (i.e., Lensbabies™) to create images which have a “painterly” ethereal quality to them. Her curiosity about the intricacies of not only nature, but life in general, is revealed in her macro images providing extremely detailed looks into life around us. A hint of nostalgia and appreciation for days gone by come thru in the vintage feel of her Polaroid images.
Here are what some colleagues have to say about Cindi’s work:
“Her heartfelt photos reach out with their beauty and whimsy touching the soul,” Bonnie Underwood
“When you look through Cindi’s photos, you really do get a sense that she cares about you the viewer. It’s an intangible quality that a photographer senses from another photographer...Cindi has this quality. Her photographs speak of a desire to please the person who is looking at them...” Skip Hansen
"Cindi is my inspiration. I am always delighted and enchanted with her photos. She has an eye for seeing the most wonderful subjects, colors, angles and interesting details. Every single one of her photos is exceptional. But what touches me most about her work is that all her photos have a reflection of her beautiful soul and her love of life - her photos are straight from her heart.” Wynne Rife
